1. Appraisal objects:
Cosmetic formula workers who are engaged in or preparing to engage in the cosmetics industry and use daily chemical raw materials that meet cosmetic safety standards to design cosmetic formulas according to market demand.
Main work content:
Design various cosmetics with different forms and functions that meet the requirements, evaluate the raw materials used and select instruments and equipment to make cosmetic samples and determine the process. Follow up the product quality evaluation results. Timely adjust and update cosmetic formulas according to industry trends to ensure their safety and advancement.

3. Certification method:
The National Vocational Qualification Certificate for Cosmetic Formulators is divided into five levels. The preliminary, intermediate and advanced assessments are divided into two parts: theoretical knowledge and skill operation. The second-level and first-level assessment are divided into theoretical knowledge and skills. Three parts: operation and comprehensive review. Both theoretical knowledge and skill operation assessments are based on a 100-point system. Those with scores of 100 points or above are considered qualified.
The results of those who pass the training and assessment are reported to the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People's Republic of China to issue a professional qualification certificate of the corresponding level. This certificate is valid nationwide for a long time and does not require annual review. It is nationally recognized as a valid qualification certificate for the professional skill level of cosmetic formula designers.
